Arclight In incubation

Continuous threat exposure management for critical energy infrastructure, in incubation with early operators and not yet generally available. One context engine for enterprise IT and the cyber-physical control layer, with every agent decision written to an append-only cryptographic ledger.

The problem

New Jersey is standing up a virtual power plant: hundreds of megawatts of customer-owned batteries, EVs and thermostats the grid can call on at peak.

Utilities are putting Operational Technology on the internet and extending the grid to devices they neither own nor control, pushing the attack surface into homes. It is a genuinely new attack surface, and its security has not been worked out.

In July 2026 attackers reached internet-facing controllers at more than 30 Minnesota water systems and operators lost control. The people downstream were households, schools and clinics that had no way to know. That is the tip of the iceberg.
